A pet assistant’s job is never done…
You might think that Tabs, being the forward-thinking feline employer that he is, would have been so kind as to give me the day off today, it being a national (and worldwide) holiday and all, but nooooo. I have been using the mini Fresh tinted Lipbalms I got as a Christmas gift set obsessively! I just wish they didn’t go so fast & that I knew someone who wanted the orange (ahem, coral) one, haha!

I found a cardboard circle in one of our Christmas presents’ packaging, so I gave it to Quincy Bunny. He got it stuck around his waist the other day, and it looked like he was trying to hula hoop, so cute!
My cat puts her paw on my mouse hand when I’m on the computer- “I think you’ve had enough internet, it’s time to pet me now.”
My cat is a hoarder!!! He drags all of his toys and beds to our spare bedroom and piles them all together. He is our little re-decorator!

When I’m late for work I either straighten my bangs and put my hair in a low pony or I clip my bangs back and throw some styling clay in my hair.

when I am in a hurry and need to look put together I usually comb through my hair with my fingers or a comb with some Garnier Fructise Smoothing Milk, and twist back the front pieces on either side of my part and pin them in the back with some small bobby pins or a flower clip(the ones from H&M are great)
Just tried soap-making pearlizing powder on cheekbones. Looks amazing.

Happy New Year! My friend Mary was over last night and we stayed up watching Palladia (all music) channel. They re-aired a concert that featured, among many others, Bruno Mars, who I am currently OBSESSED with! Can not get “Locked Out of Heaven” out of my head. It’s my current earworm.
I just spent the whole day cleaning out my room and putting away old clothes in donation bags. I didn’t realize how hard it was to part with some of my stuff.

The cutest thing my pet does is to act as a mediator… seriously! One of my shih-tzus, Goose, will get between my boyfriend and I when we’re fighting (and when he thinks we’re fighting) and try to calm us down. It’s so adorable and definitely has cut a lot of stupid fights short!

I popped champagne bottles and swam in my indoor pool at my apartment, relaxed in the sauna and had a dance party in the club room. it was the best new years ever!!
If I’m late for work I throw my hair in a pony and dab on concealer and load on some blush to look awake. Then I usually put mascara on in the car. lol. I don’t keep anything in my car because the MN winters get sooo cold it ruins beauty products (frozen mascara anyone?). I do keep mascara, powder, concealer and lipstick in my purse which is just as good.
