My fave sci-fi heroine of all time is definitely Riddick. I would give anything to be Furyan myself. As for book series…I am anxiously awaiting the release of the erotic trilogy, Fifty Shades, in April!!
I waited for 2 months to get the book from the library and there were still 18 holds on it after me!
What I liked about Hunger Games was that it was consistent with what I believe to have realistically happened, given the circumstances. So, although many didn’t like the change of tone in the third Hunger Games book–I found that it was pitch perfect.
It was great that the series, although it had a bit of romance, did not sway from what the tale was really about: survival, hunger, rebellion. Finally, a book series worth its hype, since Harry Potter 🙂

I do not know much about Hunger Games since I have not read the books but I plan to see the movie eventually. I love nail polish and Chinaq Glaze is one of my fav brands (more innovative than OPI IMO).
First of all, awesome how we have the same name 😀 And I’m currently reading the first book, and I’m trying to finish before the movie comes out because it’s against my personal religion to watch any movie without reading the book first if there is haha 😛 But yaa…I get to talk about anything at all? Well…today marks the 4th month. Not marriage, not dating…but it’s been four months since the love of my life left me to become someone totally different, to become a complete heartbreaking monster. But it’s four month now, and I’m getting so much better 🙂

I started to read the Hunger Games series and I love it!

Wait for it, wait for it…I don’t own any China Glaze! I know, I know. Pretty bad. But I don’t often go to Sally Beauty (no Ulta around here) and by the time I got there most of the Capitol Colours were gone. Definitely all the good ones.
I loved The Hunger Games when I read it last spring. It was fantastic – I’m not usually a dystopia fan but the portrayal was too good to put down.
Also, thank God it’s spring! It’s getting really hot down here in the South – I think I might be able to go ahead and pack away coats and sweaters!
I was late to the Hunger Games party, but I’m now about 2/3 of the way through the 1st book. I was hesitant due to the young adult category, but I’m really enjoying it. I definitely plan on finishing the trilogy, & I’ll probably go see the movie, too.

Last great book I read was CATCHING FIRE. AMAZING! I’m about to start Mockingjay and I’m just so excited yet so sad to read the final book in the trilogy. I honestly wish it could just keep going forever and ever. I’ll just have to settle for reading the series again from the beginning! 🙂

I picked up the first Hunger Games book on Monday and I’m about 90% done. It makes for dangerous reading on the train because I have now missed my stop not once, but twice, because I got too engrossed in the book. So good.

I love polish! I cannot remember the last time my toes were unpolished. I also always have my 2 girls nails polised (They are 9 and 6) My 9 year old is learning to do her toes and is doing pretty good. My 6 year old wants to learn but has to wait…..I have too much fun fussing over them! I let her choose what color/colors she wants and what toes are what colors. I look forward to our weekly color changes.

Heh, the Hunger Games series is the last set of books I’ve read. I’m looking forward to the movie since I have hopes that it’s done well, especially with the author being involved with the movie production.

I love Hunger Games — maybe it’s just me — but was anybody else also a little depressed when it ended? Not just that it actually ended, that was bad enough, pffiew! But when [EDIT] died, it was so heartbreaking, but when I read the last page it made it all seem less horrible and actually a beautiful story. I guess that was one of the things I liked most of the Hunger Games that even though Katniss had been through so much she — in the end — found hapiness. That and the bow-and-arrow-fight-scenes 🙂

Even though I just recently started the series (reading the first one in only a few days), I am now obsessed and even got my sister and niece obsessed as well. today i just bout my second bottle of For Audrey china glaze nail polish, its the only colour i truly love. i’m been waiting to get any colour from the electro pop collection.
I am in love with this collection. Right now, I am painting my nails with Layla Ultra Violet holographic nail polish. It’s so beautiful, but it is different to apply as opposed to regular nail polish.
I need to invest in some spring nailpolishs!

The last great book I read was The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo… I read it before the movie came out because if I hear that a book is really good I have to read it before I see the movie! Have you read any of the dragon tattoo series? The first one was sooo good I finished it in 2 days.. This giveaway is so awesome! My favorite swatches from the Capitol Colours collection are Luxe & Lush, Fast Track and Harvest Moon…and my favs from the Electropop collection are Aquadelic, Make Some Noise and Wicked Style. All of the Electropop colors are soo pretty! And Luxe & Lush reminds me of a less orangey/more iridescent white version of Essie Luxeffects topcoat in Shine of the Times!! I LOVE China Glaze. When I do my nails myself I don’t have to put on mor then 2 coats and the colors are awesome.
I’m absolutely dying to get my hands on all those colors, so stoked they created a line based off the hunger games, such an innovative idea!
I’m just reading the series for the first time (I’d never heard of it before the movie hype). I read The Hunger Games in about 3 days and I’m now zooming through Catching Fire. They’re pretty dang awesome.
Favorite China Glaze color… gah, probably For Audrey. I’m sure lots of people say that, but dang I just love that color. That and Zoya Charla are my go-tos.

I actually just finished reading The Hunger Games today! LOVED it! Can’t wait to see the film. My favorite China Glaze color of the moment is Rich & Famous! It’s the prettiest shade of hot pink I’ve found out there.

The most recent book that I read was Pandemonium. This was an amazing sequel. I loved the huger games trilogy. If you haven’t read all three I would suggest it. Love those shades in these collections.

The last great book I read was…Mockingjay!
The first time I bought a China Glaze polish, it was on clearance at Sally for $1.99. It was Classic Camel. Now that bottle is almost half finish, and it was the perfect color for the usual jaguar, and cheetah prints.
I am going to see it tomorrow!!!!!!! Can’t wait.

I haven’t actually read any of the Hunger games series cause it just seems like a white people version of Battle Royale. I have heard that it’s different enough and is enjoyable nonetheless. it’s just that when there’s so much hype surrounding something, I lose excitement and interest in it myself :/

The last great book I read was Ghost Story by Jim Butcher. It’s the latest in the Dresden Files books, which is a really good & fun series to read. The audio books are really good too. James Marsters (Spike from BtVS) reads them all except for Ghost Story, which is read by John Glover (Lex’s dad on Smallville).

I listen to the Hunger Games audiobook by the help of a faithful fan who has the voice to read this series. She brings the Games into life, I can see everything in my mind. It was a great experience. I fall in love with the book immediately I can’t stop listening until I finished the book.
