I’ve been trying (trying being the key word here) to lighten my load when I leave the house so I try to bring only what’s allegedly necessary, ha ha!
One thing I’m never without, though, is hand sanitizer. I like using this one because it doesn’t sting my hands, and I can also spritz it on cart handles and baskets when I’m shopping. Plus, for me a spray is much less messy compared to sanitizing gels, which always end up on my clothes or on my purse.
I used to bring hand cream, but lately, in the effort to streamline, I just put it on before I leave the house and when I get back home.
Some sort of lip product always comes, whether it be a lipstick, or a lip oil or some sort of healing balm. CeraVe’s Healing Ointment in the blue tube is a fave! Ulta has a twin pack with two mini tubes that are travel size, and FYI, it works as a hand cream in a pinch.
I don’t know if this necessarily counts, but I always bring a Cocofloss with me whenever I go, because I loathe the feeling of food stuck in between my teeth. Plus the package is lightweight and small, so it doesn’t take up too much space in my purse.
Again, this might not technically be a beauty product, but I always have one with me because of Connor — oversized, disposable toilet seat covers. If you have a small child and they like to hold onto the sides of the toilet seat when they use the restroom, you need one of these in your life when you’re out and about.
OK, babe. Time to spill the beans! What beauty products do you always have with you when you walk out the door?
Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,
Karen
P.S. TGIF!

This is a tough one for me to answer because I’ve been really disorganized this past year and I’ve been driving around with two makeup bags in my trunk. I root through them as needed. Do the bags of makeup count? Probably not.
But, I keep a lip liner–pillow talk–in the space by my stick shift and I keep Korres lip butter in the car too.
Totally counts. Honestly, I’d roll around with two makeup bags if my trunk wasn’t full of all the stuff I need to drop off at Goodwill, LOL! I’ve been driving around with it for months.
Lipstick for sure.
YES! When in doubt, it’s always MAC Velvet Teddy for me!
My daughter is 7 and I always carry large toilet seat covers from Amazon. I use the Summer Keep Me Clean brand and have repurchased many times. Bathrooms are so gross…especially with kids. I also always have:
* Sunglasses (I had Lasik and PRK and my eyes get sensitive)
* Lipstick/Powder/Eyeliner/Travel concealer
* Hair ties
* My daughter’s epipen and benadryl (Tree nut allergy😢)
* My husband’s asthma inhaler
* Hand Sanitizer
* Tissues
* Dog Waste Bags (We have 3 dogs…but these are also handy to have with all the sticky craziness that comes with kids (7 & 9). I have used them for dirty tissues, sticky candy wrappers, half eaten food…)
* Floss
* Bandaids
* Extra masks
I love cute small purses….but I always end up carrying larger ones. My husband and kids always need something in my bag or want me to carry their stuff.
Not really all beauty items…but I think it’s interesting to see what others carry everyday😁
Ditto on the hair ties, sunglasses and asthma inhaler. I really need to put some Band-aids in my purse! We don’t have a dog, but those dog waste bags sound REALLY useful so I might just get some.
Always lipgloss, a brow product (pen or Dipbrow), black eyeliner and bronzer. Oooh I like my own basics, I sound like a 99’s Guess model in the rough!
I LOVED those old school Guess print ads!
Lip balm and my lipstick/gloss of the day, always! Sometimes concealer, if I have a particularly stubborn zit. Sometimes a Q-tip and an eyeliner or a shadow palette, if I think I might end up rubbing my eye at work and needing to touch up.
I have CeraVe in the blue tube, too. I can’t believe it doesn’t get more attention. Sometimes I put Fresh Sugar lip balm (in the white tube) under it and it is the best combo. Also, Glossier stretch concealer. It just makes me feels fresh when I touch up during the day. I also carry coconut cocofloss!
Honey Girl Organics sheer stick sunscreen (non-chemical). Pretty little gold tube and really handy for touchups.
Morning Song Gardens Lip Balm (their bee balm cream is about the only thing that helps my eczema on my hands and legs in the wintertime)
Mini plastic sprayer filled with Honey Girl Organics Rose Face Toner (smells SO good and great on hair and skin when flying).
A lip balm. I really can’t be without them, especially not in winter.
