It can be anything! A beauty product, a piece of clothing, a piece of pie, a non-stick pan (side note, I’m looking for one), a rug. Whatever it is, I want to know why you love it and what makes it great.
Last great thing I bought was this Mini Lemon Sheet Cake from Trader Joe’s. It’s low-key addictive, which is kinda surprising to me because I originally felt a little “meh” about the frosting. The more cake I had, though, the better it tasted! I’ve been enjoying a tiny little sliver after lunch along with my afternoon coffee, YUM! It’s just enough to satisfy my sweet tooth.
How about you? What’s the last great thing you bought?
Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,
Karen

Hourglass Phantom gloss/balm in Entice and Hourglass eyeliner in Voyeur, both excellent choices. Thanks for asking! And tell Rosie the scientist that we’re ready to see Mr. Musk launch his huge rocket in the next couple weeks,
ON TENTERHOOKS!!!! She can access NASASPACEFLIGHT or LABPADRE for info.
The last great thing was this essential oil-free oil cleanser by Wabi Sabi Botanicals. With eczema on my neck, I can’t use a lot of my facial products in that area, if they have fragrances or essential oils. This stuff rocks and it smells like coffee, from the coffee bean extract that’s in it.
I got five avocados for five bucks at my grocery store the other day. They have been amazing!
I gotta say that’s an amazing price for avocados! Around here with inflation I’m lucky if I can get two for five bucks. Enjoy all that yumminess!
I bought a bottle of Hada Labo Gokujyun Aging Care Lotion. I had been using the Gokujyun Premium in the gold bottle, but the aging care formula somehow seems lusher and even more moisturizing.
Can’t think of anything superior that I’ve bought recently. (I have some new blushes I haven’t tried out yet, though.) I am interested in that lemon cake – I might get one for my mother as she likes lemon flavor more than I do. The TJ here is way too busy on weekends, so I don’t really enjoy shopping there. I’ve got to figure out a way to go there on a weekday.
I am not much of a shoe or handbag person. Black and leather for both is my jam – or most often light coloured sneakers. But my old handbag (which I bought cheap in a shoe store) started to look very beaten up after more then 5 years of everyday use…
So when we were at town we went to a nice little shop which sells bag and I spent over 200€ on a black leather bag and now I am obsessed! You can feel the quality of the leather and I bought leather care products to keep it nice for as long as possible. The funny part is I do not dare to carry it everywhere, because my precioussssss, but everywhere I go I want to take it with me, but always ask myself is going there – for example grocery shopping – special enough to take it with me… I decided going to the office is 😉 I even get paranoid at that point: when we visit friends who have a dog I fear he could chew on it, when we visit friends who have a cat I fear he could scratch the leather… so please send help I am a crazy handbag lady now
A pineapple! It was so fresh and juicy and I haven’t had one for a while, so it hit the spot!
I was able to finally get perfect avocados, I have such terrible luck with Avacados’ and I love the
Sambazon dragon fruit smoothie bowls. They have coconut flakes on top. I think seriously one of the best things I have eaten from a freezer section in a long time. Just the mental perk I need in the middle of the day. The acai bowls are good too but the dragonfruit is amazing.
Monty Bojangles chocolate hazelnut truffles. Just the right amount of sweet and two or three satisfy my sweet tooth!
A pair of silver stud earrings off of Amazon. I’m a studs girl and will wear my beloved diamonds on any given Tuesday, but wanted something a little less flashy but just as eye catching for mall runs. I love a pair from Lagos, but not the price, so did some deep internet diving and found some on Amazon with a similar look for a literal fraction of the cost. Been wearing them nonstop.
