Hi, ladies. Just a quick note before bed. I was skimming through some old posts when I got home from lunch in the city (FUN! I’ll tell you about it tomorrow) and thought this was kinda interesting…
Our average is to use between 9-12 beauty products per day. The original poll took into account everything from bath products to skin care and makeup.
Do you use more or less than that?

Oh lol… if you count bath & body products and skincare then I’m definitely over. I think I average 10 makeup items daily!

On a normal day I use somewhere between 8-9 products, and I say normal because I’m wearing a natural makeup that it doesn’t involves more than 3-4 products. If I were to talk about a more challenging day when my makeup will be more complex I would have to be in the second category with 10-14 products per day 🙂 considering also the creams, tonic lotion and makeup remover. 🙂

20, including bath and body products as well as skincare. Never really thought about it until now…wow…..
I use about 20 also, including hair and body stuff…crazy!

i guess that sounds about right…. shampoo, conditioner,soap, cleanser, moisturizer, toner, mascara, liquid eyeliner, powder, blush, lip balm, hairspray….. and that’s just the basics.
Twelve to 15 sounds about right for me. Haha. I overdo it on the cleaning department 🙂
wow, I was just counting makeup items….if I throw in the bath and hair products too…..I’m definately over 20!
I can’t remember what I voted, but I think I was somewhere between 14-17 products. I didn’t really think about it, but this is really eye-opening!
If I count prescription beauty products such as Retin-A, then I am probably over ten items a day! Sometimes I like to change perfumes or lipgloss/lipstick colours mid-day and that definitely exceeds 10!

shampoo, conditioner, becurl, gel, face washer
soap, moisturizer, foot creme, hand creme, deodorant
face moisturizer, sunscreen
perfume
most days, unless unbearable tired etc:
primer, foundation, shade, lipstick, mascara, blush, make-up remover
eventually: face scrub, feet scrub, body scrub, tonic, nailpolish,
the other day I went for a sleepover at a friend’s house and I was chocked to learn she had no product to wash her face!!!?!?!
Ha, I definitely fell into the 15+ category! I could never survive if I found myself somewhere in the distant past. (I’d have to find me some of that Neanderthal makeup you mentioned last week!)
Hmmm…there’s foundation, concealer, MAC mineralized skin finish, eye primer, blush, eye shadow, eyeliner, mascara, lip balm, lipstick, lipgloss, highlighter…yeah, that about does it (of course, on those days when I have enough time for all of that!)
