- Neutrogena Beach Defense SPF 70 (Side note, my mom had this around which is why we’re using it, but it works but it’s a little sticky and uncomfortable, IMHO)

- Kenra Volume Spray Super Hold Finishing Spray 25
- Bumble and Bumble Seaweed Air Dry Cream
- I didn’t bring any shampoo, conditioner or body wash because the place we’re staying at has Malie Organics Mango Nectar hair and body products!

Banana Boat for the win! When we used to go to Hawaii (haven’t been since Dear Daughter was looking at boarding school on the big island) I used to slather Dear Daughter and Dear Husband in it.
How is the elf Skin Holy Hydration Makeup Melting Cleansing Balm? I’m looking for a new oil cleanser or cleansing balm for that first cleanse that get’s sunscreen off.
I feel a sense of calm and stress relief just looking at your photos of Hawaii. Ahhhh!

Oh, I *love* the Maile stuff! My in-laws have brought some back for me – my favorites are the butter buns. The *best* thing after spending time in the sun! Now I’m looking on their site and contemplating buying some of the wonderful things 🙂
I just googled the Malie stuff – looks awesome! That Kenra hair spray has amazing hold and I love how they have it in a travel size.

The scent is vaguely floral and not overwhelming; I like it! I think it’s best for someone who wants soft hold and a light hydration.
I’m so jelly!! I was in oahu in May and miss it so. The banana boat didn’t work for me, I got a bit burnt. (Coulda been the Mai tai drinking on the beach lol). But had great luck with sun bum 50. Even my very pale daughter didn’t burn with it. Super goop unseen worked great for both of us. For reference, I tan very easily, and she is Casper white. And the elf makeup remover did a fantastic job removing all of our sunblock.
We stayed on the main strip at the Outrigger and had a blast! Then hopped to Kauai for 5 more days. Who knew you could lounge on the beach with chickens hanging out with you!? My daughter did feel a bit conflicted while snacking on chicken wings, bit another swif of a mai tai cured that 😸 (she’s 23)
