Well color me crazy cat lady! MBB reader Erin clued me in on kitty whispers about an upcoming cat-themed MAC collection for fall 2010.
According to the MAC Early Buzz forum on Specktra.net, it’ll feature two new eyeshadow quads — Russian Blue and Tabby Grey; there’s also rumblings about a lipgloss called Meow. 🙂
In light of last month’s MAC Makeup Collection or Breed of Cat? poll, I find this simultaneously thrilling and kinda funny. Are the MAC makeup gods reading my mind?
Oh, and, yes, Tabs is FREAKING OUT! If the rumors are true, he hopes expects to hear from MAC regarding a modeling job. 🙂

I’ll give the cat-lovers this “Cats” collection if I get a MAC “Phantom of the Opera”-themed collection, complete with the iconic white mask printed all over the makeup cases. This way we’ll all get our cheesy Andrew Lloyd Weber inspired makeup :).
Also, fall? I cannot think about it yet. I’m only getting through the days by dreaming of spring :).
I’m a cat freak and I’d definitely be all over this collection! If MAC comes up with some gorgeous packaging I’ll purr with glee. 😉

my family is a crazy cat family lol ! my sister inherited a “stepchild” her name is Emmy she a more orange female version of tabs with green eyes ( her full name is esmeralda) then you already know abt diva who my parents “stole” from me and jazmine who is always dressed to the 9’s withher “tuxedo” and white boots lol – whoa i totally sound like a ccl !

It’s about time MAC drew inspiration from kittehs’ oh-so-perf natural eyeliner! I think a Tabby Gray palette sounds gorgeous! I hope they do something really special with the packaging!
I’m not so much a cat fan but I loved the broadway show! The makeup for the show is awesome and if it’s true it gets me excited to see what colors and packaging that would be in the collection!!!
Say what?! I need to start saving now if this is going to be coming to MAC in the fall! I love me some kittehs (mom of three kittehs here), and I love me some makeup. I agree, it would be awesome if they had special packaging for this collection. I can’t wait to hear more about it. CCL FTW! 🙂

It would be cool if they did a neat Calico Black with sparkles, a light pink (like a cat nose) and a cool orange colour too.

I love cats and I would love a cat theme makeup collection. Just as long it is inspired by the musical full of giant human sized fur balls. They freak me out.

oh oh OH! Tabby is one of my favorite MAC shadows. I hope it’s going to be repromoted! It’s a great taupe from a holiday palette, I think the 2005? Delights cool eyeshadow palette. It’s kind of like Clue.
I’m not sure about this.. I am not really a huge fan of cats, but I feel like a collection could go either way. It’s an interesting idea though, and I’d be excited to see what they come up with!
