There should be a video right here, but if not, you can also watch it on YouTube.

First, there were the original MAC Fluidline Gel Liners, then the MAC Fluidline Eye Pencils, and now the pen is even mightier than the sword, pencil and the gel, thanks to the new $22 MAC Fluidline Pens.
Wait — say what?!
Yup, that’s right, fellow Fluidline fans. Now you can get your Fluidline fix from a pen.
I know! I’m blowing your mind right now!
These four pens are essentially liquid versions of MAC Fluidline gel liner, so they’re smudge-resistant and dry quickly to a bold matte finish.
They arrive with the new 10-piece MAC Fluidity collection, which is mostly made up of re-promotes from the MAC permanent line.

I gotta say — I’m lovin’ the long length and flexible felt tip on these pens. I think they’re way easier to work with than regular MAC liquid liners with their stiffer, shorter tips.
Methinks these are better for drawing thin, precise lines with smooth edges.
These last at least eight hours for me, too, which is good, without transferring into my crease.
But they aren’t 100% without-a-doubt completely budge-proof. I have noticed that when I’m wearing them and I rub my eyes (like when Tabs has me running ragged and I’m dog tired), I can see little bits of liner lift.
So, remember to keep those paws away off your eyes! 🙂

The MAC Fluidline Pens arrive with the rest of the MAC Fluidity collection at Macy’s November 27 through November 30, and then also at MAC stores, counters and online, where they join the MAC permanent collection, starting December 10.

Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,
Karen

Oooh, pens! These look so good, Karen — I love those inky winter shades.
I love the Fluidline Gel liners, so I really need to take a look at these!
Oh my, Karen, Privet looks great on your skintone! I just love those jewel tone colours for fall/winter!
Niiiiiiiiiiiiice! Privet looks stunning.
Merci pour la découverte, Karen…
That is exciting! I love pen liners. I wonder if they can beat my fav Kat Von D Tattoo Liner.
You never know! You should do an experiment in the name of beauty science. 🙂
i really like these kinds of liners. I have been using my pen liner from UD but it is running out. 🙁
Ahh, try this one then! Or you might also like LORAC Front of the Line Pro.
Oooohhh the two blues are gorgeous! These are going on the never-ending list of things I want to buy.
Yes! Such is the life of a beauty junkie, LOL! The list just gets longer and longer…
That blue! Ugh I hope these don’t sell out before I can get my paws on them!
Luckily it’s permanent!
These look similar to the Clinique Pretty Easy Liner, which I am in LOVE with. I’ll give these a go once I finish up the Clinique one. 🙂
I’ve never used liner pens. I am a fan of gel liner since I find pencils too complicated and messy. I bought UD perversion mascara and pencil set last week but will be returning it because they are not doing it for me. The mascara clumps and the liner is flakes too much. I also think my eyes are sensitive and I am getting a reaction. I am going to have to check out another brand. MAC products seem to be more reasonable price-wise. Maybe it’s time for me to give it a look. Be well!
Nice! My lazy self is always put off by the amount of work a gel liner in a jar involves: finding a clean liner brush, dipping it in, try to draw something decent… Too much for me, lol! I much prefer pens that area ready to use – guess that’s why my gel liners always dry out before I’ve made a dent in them.
Ooooooh, those shades are beautiful especially those two blues! I don’t have a liquid blue liner
I wish there were a purple or plum shade, but I still love the two blues.
Would love to pick up one or two of these liners!
