I felt like doing something a little different and festive with my nails this weekend, so I tried a glittery ombre mani using a base of bright Lancôme Mini Les Vernis lacquer in Shade 102 ($15), topped with glittery China Glaze Twinkle Lights ($6).
I only did my tips, so my toes are currently bare and, I might add, resemble monkey feet, LOL! 🙂

How about you? What are you wearing on your nails?
Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,
Karen

I’ve used silver foil and stamped over it with a black polish making it a snowleopard metallic nail 🙂
Zoya Trixie! It’s so shiny 😀
OPI Pinking of you 🙂
I’m wearing Zoya Dove on my nails. It is a soft gray color, and I love how it is a little edgy while still being neutral and professional enough for work.
OPI Russian Navy with Sephora by OPI chunky glitter Traffic Stopper Copper on top!
Nails, Inc. Houses Of Parliament magnetic polish (though I just chipped half of it off scrubbing the bathroom)
I’m in the middle of switching from Zoya Marina to OPI Chicago Champagne Toast. It’s too cloudy and depressing outside not to whip out some pink polish!
Chanel Coco Blue on all but the ring fingers, where I am wearing OPI’s Sparkle-icious.
Right now they are bare. Later on though I’ll be painting them with Butter London’s Fairy Lights with Tart with a Heart over it.
right now I have a French mani(: but hoping to buy some fun xmas-y nail polishes(:
Right now I am wearing OPI Meep-Meep-Meep. 🙂
I”m using “All that Glitters” Piggy Polish on my toes. It’s a lovely peach shade with plenty of sparkle. Looks great in an open toe shoe without standing out too much.
Daisy
Nothing! Just cut my nails short to get rid of the slightly yellowed part from too frequent nail polish usage.
I’m wearing Zoya Edyta on my tips and Sally Hansen Bronze Ablaze on my toes 🙂
im wearing across the universe deborah lippmann love it!!
e.l.f.’s Lilac topped with N.Y.C.’s Glitzy Grape Glitter, which is actually more of a soft shimmer than a glitter.
MAC Unconditionally Fabulous on my finger nails (looks exactly like Snow Globe) and Deborah Lippmann Brick House on my toes.
Chanel Diabolic! Love the way it pops against my incredibly pale skin 😛
Your ombre mani is so cute! It looks much more effortless than a classic French. My feet definitely need a little TLC as well…
I’m wearing Dior Vernis in Apparat. It’s like a grown-up alternative to a bright holiday red. 😀
OPI Congeniality is my Middle Name on the fingernails and OPI for Spehora I’m With Brad on the toenails 🙂
I am wearing Excuse Moi! by OPI from the new Muppet Line/
I’m getting ready to take off China Glaze Riveter Rouge. I think I’m going to paint them with OPI Pamplona Purple next. I’m wearing Orly Wandering Vine on my toes.
China Glaze Pelican Gray 😀
I was wearing the dark purple Nails INC Magnetic polish that I got from Sephora…. but it chips sooo easily that I really need to do another manicure now. I still love the effect… maybe I need a better topcoat. Still might get a couple as Xmas presents. Love love your festive nails!
I’m wearing essie cocktail bling, which I am really glad I bought! But, I’m loving your ombre glitter, it is beautiful!
Oh my gosh Karen, I was about to do the exact look! Except I’m using the China Glaze Poinsettia. I got the China Glaze Holiday package with Poinsettia, Holly and Twinkle Lights. I can’t wait to do try all the possible combos with these three!
That looks awesome, Karen! I just took off my OPI Vodka & Caviar, and repainted with Chanel Paradoxal. Hopefully this time it lasts!
So pretty! I just wore a purple dress to a wedding and did my nails with OPI’s Funky Dunky and layered an ombre of Happy Birthday at the tips like you did!
Oh, Karen!!!! Please, NO MONKEY TOES!!! LoL!!! I am wearing OPI Brisbane Bronze on my fingers AND toes…
I’m wearing Jitterbug by China Glaze.
Hi Karen!
Wow, your nails are really festive!
I’m wearing a very festive combo of Yves Rocher 82 Brun-Noir with Essence Colour & Go 72 Time for Romance on top, a really pretty topcoat with various sizes mauve/pink glitter.
Oooh! I love those festive nails with the Lancome and China Glaze nail polishes! I think I’m going to try out something like that sometime soon since I’m a big of a Christmas freak lol
your mani is adorable!
my nails are bare and cut short in anticipation of a thanksgiving cooking marathon! 🙂
I’m wearing OPI Designer…De Better!, which if you have any affinity for shiny, metallic nails at all you should absolutely go out and buy as it looks absolutely amazing on the nail (even better than in pictures or the bottle). However this is day 4 of DDB and although it still looks great I am very itchy to change :). So soon my nails will be Dior Merveille.
Butter London’s Toff
I really like the festive look you did with the glitter on just your tips. 🙂
Today I’m wearing freehand green frog nail art I did myself. It’s what I wore when I went to IMATS Toronto recently.
Thanks! The glitter makes me so happy. 🙂
Your mani sounds cute, btw. I don’t think I’m coordinated enough to do something like that!
Oh, you totally are. 🙂 It’s just a few blobs of polish, some dots, and a few little lines. You should try it, Karen! I’d LOVE to see how yours turn out!
(I just published a nail-art tutorial on it today, actually. You’ll see just how simple it is. And it’s okay if they’re not perfect – mine aren’t! – I think it adds more character to each little frog.) 😀
I’m wearing Revlon “Steel her heart” which is a gun metalmetallic grey,
Zoya Zara! It’s such a unique purple!
Bare nails and Sinful Colors “Let’s Talk” (makes me sing Coldplay everytime I use it/say it’s name!!), a true metallic purple with China Glaze “Snow Globe” on top. I just couldn’t wait for the holidays to try out Snow Globe. Its irridescent sparkle makes me so happy! I also bought “Twinkle Lights” when I got “Snow Globe” and I am soooo going to try that ombre look that you’re sporting. It’s so freakin’ festive!
Essie – Ladylike on fingers and OPI- Linkin Park after Dark on toes. I don’t get very exciting with my colors.
Right now I’m wearing Orly Chica Boom – (Bright true orange) Channeling summer days even if it’s been raining on and off the last few months. Next manicure will be more holiday themed, as in Manila the Christmas season’s already begun!
