Bronzer fiend says what?
What?
I’m addicted to bronzer. 🙂 Have been for a while, but it’s progressed to the point where I feel naked when I’m not wearing any bronzer at all, like I’m running through the aisles at Trader Joe’s wearing nothing but my skivvies and a pair of flip-flips and trying to avoid making eye contact with anyone while I clutch six bags of coconut chips in my arms.
Awkward…
It’s a problem, but at least it’s easy to fix. I just make a point of carrying from one to three bronzers with me at all times (’cause you never know when the urge for NARS Laguna, MAC Give Me Sun or Benefit Hoola will strike).
Okay, not all times. But most.
Except for lately, because I’ve been in the mood to travel light. I rediscovered this small, striped Kate Spade wristlet that I like, and it’s just too small for three bronzers and the kitchen sink.
I guess the stars were aligning when I met the new $30 Too Faced Endless Summer 16 Hour Long-Wear Bronzer. A light golden brown with subtle shimmer, it keeps me bronzed from brunch to bed, so I don’t have to bring it with me for touch-ups when I leave the house.
Too Faced says that the formula, which combines film formers and polymers with long-lasting pigments, lasts as long as it does because of its “double bond formula…” And yes, I’m picturing two Daniel Craigs. 🙂
They also claim that it’s out of this world! — as in universally flattering, and I can see that. Mostly. I do think it may go ashy on the deepest skin tones…
Most of all, though, I love the way this shimmers. It’s golden and barely there, like NARS Laguna, but with the shimmer dial turned way down.
Also, you know how some bronzers have a very defined, almost hard look when you use them to contour your cheeks? Well, Endless Summer doesn’t do that, and I think it’s because of the shimmer. It gives it a very pretty, natural softness, almost like you’re seeing someone through frosted glass. 🙂

I might need to check this one, I find Laguna to be slightly too shimmery. I like the idea of a glowy bronzing powder and the packaging is gorgeous!

Oh god, a lot! lol I think I have 20? My favorite is thebalm Bahama Mama, did you try it? I love Too Faced Chocolate Soleil and MUFE Mat Bronze 30 too. I prefer matte bronzing powders, or with a satiny/glowy finish but I still haven’t found one.

Too Faced bronzers are usually pretty great for non-muddy looks. Another good one is Benefit Hoola. Have you tried it?
No! I havent tried it suprisingly. Bronzer just isnt an item I splurge on in the high end makeup department because I splurge on so much else lol but I think I should break down and get it. Thanks for the recommendation!

Did I tell you bronzers are my current obsession?? 2 months ago I didn’t even own a bronzer, didn’t use it but now it’s a must. I think I will pick this one up (or would you rather recommend Hoola?) Also, I know I say it every time but I want your hair. I am really jealous of how gorgeous it looks!

Your entire palette for this look is beautiful. I want to recreate it! I’m assuming you are wearing the Laura Mercier Creme Smooth lip color in Belize? Other than the bronzer on your lids, are you wearing any other shadow shades?
Ohhh I like the Bronzed PPP on the right! I’m very fair…so I would have to swatch it first, to see If doesn’t look orange on me!! I went yesterday to my only Sephora “inside JC Penney” and didn’t have lots of things! And I ask them why? And the girl said We can’t ask to bring things they only send us what we have… That’s not good service… 🙁
So pretty! And I can’t resist a little shimmer. I think this is a smidge too dark for me right now but after I get my summer tan on, this may be the perfect bronzer!

I’ve been using the Lorac bronzer and love it, but unforunately it doesnt last all day. I would say maybe 8 hours at most.
How good was the staying power of this bronzer in terms of hours? did it make it through your work day + evening?
i also checked sephora and its not available yet. boo.

I’m totally addicted to bronzers as well – so great for shaping the face! -Just got the Face Contour Cream from & Other Stories that’s really great if you want to keep your skin mat.
is it any good? would it work for a very fair skin tone? it looks quite dark.
Anyone tried this yet? I really want to get it BUT only if it lasts more than 8-10 hours…
so I finally tried this today and….I like the color but the finish isn’t as smooth as I thought. I will try another BB cream tomorrow to see if that makes a difference. it has been 8 hours tho and still going strong so its def. long wearing 🙂
