That’s what they call me — the people who know me best — but everyone else just calls me by my given name, Givenchy Gelee D’Interdit Smoothing Gloss Balm Crystal Shine in Acoustic Wild Rose #18.
I’m new here. I actually don’t even start work till the fall. They got me sitting on shelves at this place called Sephora. It’s a contract position — you know, a limited time. I told them I wouldn’t work for a nickel less than $27.50. I said, “That’s my price.” And they agreed.
The job description called for someone who “has a thing for biker bars, bouquets, and playing breakup songs on her guitar at corner coffee shops on open mic night.”
Eh, I needed the work…
I’m a very sheer, shimmery pink, and have pearlescent purple and golden glitter. If I had my druthers, I would have preferred a job looking smooth, shiny and dainty on the lips of ladies who lunch — the bored ones who like a kick of disco glitter to spice up their cucumber sandwiches at afternoon tea.

I can’t help that I love this. I want to help it, but I have no willpower. I have to keep reminding myself of how often (not very) I wear my Candide Garden quad that I *had* to have. Which is not very often. I’m going to think about something else now. Like Tabs in the Curiosity photo, which is all kinds of awesome, and this evening’s movie. 🙂

I just finished reading your glitter quad review and, despite the fallout, I still kind of want it. I’m going to try to hit a Sephora next week and check it out. It’s sad that I’m hoping I hate it in person.

Do you know anything about where they’d be released internationally? There’s no sephoras here but I just have to have the eye quad and lip gloss(I’d never call it a balm, I found the one I tried before so drying!)

Wow, your eyeliner looks SO amazing in this look! I was mesmerized. I have never tried gel eyeliner around the entire eye but I am def going to now.
I have a couple Gelée d’Interdit lipglosses and I really like them! I never found their sparkles gritty either, and they attract so much light!
Wild rose is a very nice shade for fall, I might consider getting it 🙂
