The new limited edition summer set comes with a bevy of bronzing treats to get your skin tanned and highlighted just right. You get three bestselling Too Faced powder bronzers, an exclusive golden highlighter, a face primer and three step-by-step bronzing tutorial cards.
Just thinking about the pan of Chocolate Soleil bronzer, by far my favorite thing in the kit, makes my tummy rumble… IT SMELLS LIKE CHOCOLATE TOO! Chocolate Rice Krispies, to be precise. A smooth, matte pure brown without orange undertones, it’s a combination that can be hard to find. It’s so brown, in fact, that if I’m not careful and go overboard with it, it can look muddy on me.
Oui, oui! French Riviera has some other things going for it like…
- Sun Bunny Bronzer — This super shimmery bronzer has strong orange tones. Lovelies with olive and cocoa skin who like the way they look in warm colors might want to try this Sun Bunny, but it might make porcelain princesses feel a little too orange.
- Powdered Sun — You can’t miss the large globs o’ glitter in this golden highlighting powder. The product reminds me of Bobbi Brown’s Shimmer Bricks. Fab if you love big, bold shimmer…but if I don’t use it sparingly my pores look like Olympic swimming pools!
- Snow Bunny — So pretty! This soft golden pinkish brown has fine shimmer, and it’s my second favorite powder in the kit. I wager it’ll work well on both light and dark skin tones. Lighter lovelies can rock it as a shimmery bronzer; medium and darker divas can use it as a highlighter for an illuminating glow.
- Primed & Poreless Bronze Tint — This tinted face primer has a fluffy texture and a smooth, silicone-y feel. It’s designed to diminish the appearance of pores. I like the color, but I don’t really see a big difference in the size or obviousness of my pores with it on. They’re still there, LOL! Hi, guys! I see you.

Too Faced is known for their bronzing powders, and this might be a good way to get and sample a few of them in one fell swoop. My favorite things about the kit are Chocolate Soleil and Snow Bunny, but with my coloring, I wouldn’t mind swapping out Powered Sun and Sun Bunny for other things…

This is a neat kit! I am loooving the cards that come with it~ I almost with you could buy those separately, haha! I’m with you on going to bed early. The bronzers wouldn’t work for me but I LOVE the kitty picture! My dogs like to sit in my lap and watch my computer monitor. It’s weird; it’s like they can recognize human faces and other animals.

I’ve been waiting for this to get into the stores so that I can choose between it and Choc Soleil. I really like the idea of the cards and the tint but not sure that it will all suit my skin tone. Oh, what to do… maybe I’ll make a trip out to Sephora today 😉
