Yup, it’s official. Anything’s possible now.
That’s how I feel today, babe, like the sky’s the limit! In a world with a line of full-coverage lipsticks that feel exactly like lip balms, anything’s possible. Pretty soon fashion-forward cats will start walking on their hind legs, venus fly traps will start crooning, and Keanu Reeves will win an Academy Award.

Yes, celebrity diving show. Picture it: Greg Louganis coaching Kendra Wilkinson through her springboard tucks and twists (which reminds me, I dated a diver once for like two seconds; it did not go swimmingly, ba-dum-bum).
Wait — where was I? Oh, yeah. The lipsticks.
MAC’s new $22 Mineralize Rich Lipsticks dove (haha) into the permanent line earlier this month, and from one dry-lipped girl to another (assuming you have dry lips, of course), one word: revelation.
According to MAC, the 77 minerals they added to the formula make these magnificent moisturizers, which leads me to wonder late at night (right after my 20-pound tabby wakes me up by walking across my left boob), why 77 minerals? Why not 76 or 78?
But I digress…
Ever since I started wearing six of the 12 shades, I haven’t seen a lip flake in sight.
The moisturizing formula takes the cake, but it’s not all these have going for ’em. They’re also comfy like a good pair of yoga pants. They could easily pass for a lightweight balm.
And they’re so easy to apply! — so put down that lip brush and liner. Even with the darker shades, like warm, deep red All Out Gorgeous, I can apply them directly from the oversized bullet (at 0.12 ounces per tube, these are slightly larger than regular 0.10-ounce MAC Lipsticks), and get 2-4 hours of full coverage from a single layer.
Full coverage. Yup, you read that right, but I think it’s 99% blessing, 1% curse, because dayum, gina! — they look great, but sometimes I forget that I’m wearing any lipstick at all, so I rub my lips together and end up with lipstick smeared outside my natural lip line.
Note to self: break that habit.
Second note to self: stop sniffing these in public…because even though you like the faint vanilla flavor and scent, and even though you smile every time you hear the magnetic cap “click” when you’re done, you look a little sketchy. So stop.

Feet first, no problem. I can do that, even from some pretty high places, but I get freaked about hitting the water upside down…

Nothing too exciting going on, unfortunately. The weather sucks, it’s cold and snowing. Not a good first day of spring.
I bought 4 of these a few weeks back. They really are perfect for us dry lip gals. They just glided on my lips like butter (I know… ewww! lol). They’re perfect though! But now I’m thinking I need to get Posh Tone. All Out Gorgeous really suits you! 🙂

Oh, there are some beauties in that line! I’m horrible at rubbing my lips together, too. We should join a support group. 🙂
Heck, yeah! on the diving. Nothing more complicated than swan dives, jackknives and forward somersaults/back flips, though. I’ve never tried twists or anything-and-a-half. My kids have swimming class in the summer at our high school pool (where I learned to swim and dive) and the last day is Open Swim – a free day when kids can bring their parents. I probably already told you this but I was asking the boys if they wanted to see Mommy dive (they were nervous about the board; I think it’s like 3 meters). The Hubs was like “ummmm, when is the last time you actually dove?”. I told him it was probably like 20 years ago but it’s like riding a bike. He was skeptical. HAHA! Anyway, it turned out great and all the other kids were asking “can you do this? Can you try this?” and “Watch me try!” One of my boys spent the hour telling everyone “that’s my Mom!” The moral is that everyone should learn to dive and then not be afraid to look like a dolt at your kids’ open swim day because they’ll be proud of you and it will be awesome… even when your friends are mortified and want to know if you’ve lost your mind. HAHAHA!
I dunno whats with me and coral lippies..I hog them like crazy..But here for once these ones look actually different shade on your lips from the swatch..I mean I was hoping the style surge and lady at play to be true corals(something like mac ravishing ) on your lips,but they look pretty mellow..
