Just in case you were wondering…Milani’s new line of Brilliant Shine Lip Glosses will not make it through an intense chow-down session with your (my) favorite salad in the whole wide world.

They will, however, make it through an intense 35-minute-long eye rolling session while watching Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters.

Actually…I’m sure they could’ve lasted the movie’s entire 90-minute length (wear time is from 2-4 hours), but the movie was just so, so bad that I couldn’t sit through it (not even the J. Renn eye candy/savory biceps could save it).
Drugstore shoppers, these absolutely gorgeous glosses are smooth like the skin on J. Renn’s bulging biceps and have a comfy, non-sticky formula, mountains of moisture and a light and lovely butterscotch scent (they are unflavored, though).

But be warned… The formula’s quite thick and reminds me of Guerlain’s Gloss D’Enfers, so you may want to wear your hair back in a ponytail. Yes, when you wear these, your mane will get caught in your kisser if you whip your Victoria’s Secret hurr back and forth.
Sometimes I like the way thicker glosses feel on my lips, so I don’t mind.
And ooh! — the choices here. Lots of colors, finishes (cream, shimmer and frost) and coverages ranging from sheer to opaque, and thanks to the flocked sponge applicator, all of the shades, even the deepest, most intensely pigmented ones, are easy to apply.

I think Milani did a great job on all of these colors, but for me the creams really stand out. Freakishly smooth and shiny, they’re like glosses that would otherwise run $30 or more in a department store.
If you can’t decide where to start, may I suggest Bare Secret, Sweet Grapefruit, Pink Lady or (and!) Coral Crush? They’ve been my 24/7 partners in crime this week.
Wow, I must say — Milani’s having a major moment right now, especially when it comes to lip products. Great quality, colors and price. Products like these make me love drugstore makeup even more.
PRICE: $5.49 each
AVAILABILITY: Coming February to CVS, Walgreens and Walmart stores (and also online)

Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,
Karen

These look amazing! It’s going to take awhile for me to narrow down which ones to get. Milani is bringing it this spring. And that salad? Oh. Mah. Word. Hangry.
Nude Touch and Rose Blush look so beautiful! But I think Black Cherry looks the best on you. And that price? Amazing! I need to buy one of these and try for myself.
Did you actually watch that movie..even 30 minutes? I could barely sit through trailers on TV!!!
The salad looks yummm…and you look amazing! 😀
Dude, I tried. I think I was too tired to pick up the remote control, LOL. Plus… J. RENN.
I say that all the time..”too tired to pick up the remote” 😀 😀 😀
These are so pretty!
Some of them look really nice as layering lipglosses!
OMG – I want Mai Tai and Brown berry in my possession RIGHT MEOW! No seriously, go to your drawer, get them out, put them in a box and mail them overnight. God dammit…why do I need to live in Canada where Milani is so hard to get??
What beautiful colors! I’ll have to go pick up a handful.
Gorgeous colors, especially loving Black Cherry..and you look positively radiant! Also loving the look of that salad! What are the ingredients?
You look perrfffff in all those colors!! I must say, I am FREAKIN out about Milani’s new stuff. I get more and more excited for these new collections and keep ravaging the drugstores but none of the new stuff has emerged yet. I mean, I know the release is February, but I for sure want to be first in line for this stuff! It’s just tempting, you know?
Oh Milani!! Those are some super gorgeous shades! I can’t wait for the spring release!
I love all of them!! It will be hard to close just one shade if Milani distributes in Canada.
Awwww I kind of liked the story of that movie, could have been less jumpy all over the place but I found the characters enduring and some parts are funny! I love SO many of these colors
These look so nice!
These look very good!! Amazing swatches 🙂
Yowza! These look amazing! I saw gloss, pigmented, and butterscotch, and kind of went off in a happy dream…
Wow, these look stunning. And that salad, I need it, NOW.
I see quite a few that I want!
Sorry, were you talking about some kind of makeup? I got distracted at J Renn. HAHA! Word, on that movie. Just horrific. The upside is that you didn’t see it in the theater like someone else here… 🙂 I had to sit through the entire thing. If not for J, then for the $9 I paid. I was hoping it would be “so bad, it’s good”. Yeah. Not so much.
Please tell me the twins were there with you and you didn’t watch it on your own, LOL!
Im at home sick right now, and I tried to watch Hansel and Gretel on Netflix earlier! It really was pretty bad. J. Renn was really the only good part of it.
Wow, an A+? I’m definitely going to have to check these out next month! So many pretty colors!
Gorgeous everything 🙂
Mai-Tai is my favorite! I am a sucker for anything orange!
Hi Doll! I’m seriously in love with these glosses, When you said that these can run easily for 30 dollars, it’s true! they feel luxurious, but on the thick side (I love thick gloss formula). I own Elizabeth Arden lip glosses; They are eerily similar and the packaging is the same:) BTW Elizabeth Arden are now discontinued in Puerto Rico “sigh”.
PS: I own bare secret, mai tai, and mauve fetish.
