Unless I’m overlooking something obvs, Mary Jane’s MIA this time around. Well, there is the kit… 24/7 Jackpot ($39) — heh, I said pot.
Either way, Jackpot brings beautifully rich, blinged-out liners to the holiday makeup table, and if you’re new to Urban Decay, I think you’re in for a treat. 🙂
These 24/7 pencils are some of the best liners around, with awesome, creamy textures, vibrant colors and all-day wear time.
Jet black Zero has been a crowd fave, but shimmery golden brown Bourbon has been my No. 1 crush.

With Jackpot, an idea similar to last year’s 24/7 Super Stash (except instead of nine miniature Glide-On Eye Pencils, this kit comes with nine minis and a full-size Zero), Urban Decay had value in mind.
It’s important to note, however, that more than half of Jackpot’s colors were already released with last year’s Super Stash — Rockstar, Binge, Ransom, Stash, Eldorado and Zero. That may not be welcome news to ladies who jumped at Super Stash, but for what it’s worth, these are colors that most gals should be able to wear often.

Butterfingers, take heed. I’ve heard from not-so-nimble-fingered friends that these minis can be difficult to manipulate and hold. If that ends up being the case for you, you could always break up the set, and give the pencils away to friends and family, and they make cute little stocking stuffers, too. 🙂 Just a thought…

It’s a pretty affordable way to stock up on a few 24/7 faves and may present an opportunity to discover some new colors, too, like the shimmery forest green Mildew (LOVE!). I personally have quite a few mini sized UD liners and original sized and I don’t see any difference in quality. But some people say that mini sized are worse. Have you (or anyone else, girls) noticed any difference?

I have both the minis and the originals and haven’t had any trubs with the smaller versions.
Yeah, me, too. That’s just strange. I was surprised when several (!!!) people told me that they are a bit different… hmm
I’ve had travel sized brushes be worse from the originals (ahem, MAC!), but never had that experience with liners!
BTW, I wore Benefit No Competition the other day and thought of you, LOL!

Me too. When I’m too lazy to do an entire eye look sometimes just a few swipes of something bright or colorful is enough to do the trick.
While you’re checking out Ransom you have to promise me to look at Bourbon! It’s a neutral, but it’s awesome.
I LOVE the 24/7 pencils! Although I got the similar kit last holiday season, I am still tempted by this set.
Yup, that was Stash. There are several overlapping colors.

I LOVEEEEE THESE! I suggested (aka TOLD) my hubby that the Jackpot set would make an awesome birthday present for me. Of course he didn’t want to go to my “girly” store to get them, so I did :o) Got a freebie sample of de-slick in a tube also. I HAVE to have the rest of the 24/7 liners! They are so creamy & they last ALL day!
See, I bought this, and I’m not sure about the value. The pencils are so small, I’m wondering if it would be better to just buy the colors I love in the big size. I’m also not seeing the lasting power that ppl see. They still smudged on me at the end of the day.

Some of my favorites! I haven’t noticed a difference between the regular and minis – have both!
Just got Rockstar but haven’t gotten into wearing it too much – it looks great and I’ll have to reach for it more often! Bourbon is one of my faves – I had to get backups of that and Stash, another favorite! I also have been using Gunmetal a lot….Whiskey is pretty too – it might have to join the others soon!
Ahh! I missed the holiday set of 24/7 last year, not going to happen again. Going to head over to Sephora this weekend. Is there any other eyeliners that stay well on oily skin and/or the water line?

Wow, those are some beautiful colors. The ones that I like the most would also be the toughest to wear (I’m talking to you, Electric!). I really like the idea of the minis, though; I’d feel less guilty chucking a small size if it didn’t work out. 🙂

I have Rockstar, Stash and Bourbon. I like UD’s eyeliners a lot but I have to sharpen them more frequently than other brands. Has anyone else noticed this?
Yeah, I have to sharpen mine a lot, too. I guess because they are so creamy?
I use 24/7 in Zero daily, so naturally, I was ecstatic when I saw this set. Even though I am an aspiring makeup artist, and it’s important to have a wide range of colors, I figured I’d probably only use Eldarado, Ransom, and Zero, so I think I’ll pass…. but I’ll probably get it anyway sooner or later! 🙂

Techakohls are some of the easiest liners to work. I had to do a five minute face today and whipped out my number one girl, Graphblack, and she totally delivered in a rush. LOVE!

Hmm, I like 24/7 liners but the colors are a bit too daring for me! I love Underground, which isn’t part of this set, but it’s a great neutral color. Kind of brown with plum, taupe and gold in it. *LOVE*
