A sunny bow to go with a sunny disposition. ?
Tabs was in a happy mood on his walk this morning, and why wouldn’t he be? The sun is out, there are frisky birds chirping, and the rain last week made the grass on the hill extra scrumptious.
Also, he got a tuna snack last night because I made some for sandwiches, and that always cheers him up.
Tabs looks quite dashing in his springy yellow bow, doesn’t he?
Yes, he picked it out. 🙂 But it wasn’t just because it made sense from a spring fashion standpoint. It also makes sense in terms of Tabs the Cat Industries LLC company security, because the yellow stands out and makes it easier for me to spot him and provide backup if Tabs gets into any trouble with the local cat hooligans.
This is an exciting time of year to go on cat patrol because the birds are out in force, and some of them are gutsy, man! They get close! Tabs was a pretty good birder in his day, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he still has an effective power pounce.
One bird while we were out there today landed about five feet away, and I usually don’t hold onto the leash, which is 10 feet long, because Tabs knows and doesn’t try to pull away anymore, so that bird was well within the effective tabby danger zone.
Tabs spared him, though… This time. ?

It’s another world there. We had bare ground for a couple of days, then got more snow, so everything is white here again in Central New York.
Wow, Tabs can really rock the color yellow!! Such a striking contrast to his magnificent dark stripes. The yellow brightened my day and made me smile so thanks for sharing! Enjoy the week ahead!
