Some shots of the new Urban Decay Naked2 Palette ($50; available now online) in action, babe. I used the Naked2 tutorial on the Urban Decay website as a jumping off point. 🙂

Just a few more product pics of the new Urban Decay Naked2 Palette ($50).

I wanna rock right now.
I’m K-Dog and I came to get down.
My cat’s internationally known,
And he’s known to rock the microphone.
‘Cause I get stupid, I mean outrageous,
My love for UD Naked2 is contagious.
These shadows are winners, no, they’re not losers,
With 12 shades total for every neutral user.
Ladies love it, girls adore it,
I mean even the ones who never saw it like…
The way that the shades just flow.
The reason why, UD steals the show,
So let’s go, ’cause…
It takes Naked2 to make a thing go right…
It takes Naked2 to make it outta sight.

Can you remember the last time you wore a glittery nail polish?
If you can’t, you better get on it!

It seems like everywhere I turn lately, I keep running into teal, like over at the YSL counter a few weeks ago, when I bumped into La Laque Nail Laquer Wintergreen ($20), a deep, dark creamy greenish blue from the new Midnight Garden collection (I snagged the last bottle, yay!).
And last weekend at Sephora, I spotted a bottle of shimmery green Tempted by Teal ($9.50) from about 20 feet away…
Okay, 10 feet, give or take, but I bet I would have also seen it from 20. 🙂
It hails from the new Sephora By OPI Garden of Good & Evil collection.
My latest teal crush comes all the way from outer space (by way of Southern California). It’s this kickin’ little bottle from Urban Decay’s new nail kit called Mars.

Dontcha just love the little flecks of silver glitter? They’re like stars. Mars and stars…
Of course, as much as I like teal, and other colors, for that matter, I’m a die-hard mixed mani/pedi girl at heart. I have trouble committing to any one color on all 10 fingers and toes (it’s one of my many beauty quirks), so I’ve been compiling a list of potential fall colors to pair with teal in my mani/pedi combos.

Urban Decay Stardust Sparkling Lip Gloss in Glitter Rock on lips
I’m making the weekend last through Tuesday this week with Urban Decay’s new Stardust Sparkling Lip Glosses, because ooh-la-la, sis-boom-bah! — these sheer, sparkly glosses are just too much fun for regular weekends.
I’m still tracking down prices and availability on these and the other Urban Decay fall/holiday launches, but I think it’s safe to assume that these will cost around $16-19 each, right in line with the price of an average UD gloss.
Based on the three I’ve been getting to know since late last week — Space Cowboy (a shimmery champagne) Andromeda (a shimmery, peachy pinkish gold) and Glitter Rock (a shimmery magenta) — these are light on pigment but heavy on glitter and shine, and what I like most about them is the way they feel on my lips. There’s no grit to ’em, as far as I can tell, unlike quite a few other glittery glosses on the market.
I wonder if Urban Decay based the formula on the one they use for the Lip Junkies, because they feel similarly thick and sticky to me, and for what it’s worth, the minty flavor and scent, while quite strong, doesn’t seem overly synthetic or sweet.
As far as wear time goes, I get about four hours from them between meals — excellent — or about three if I take a break for coffee or tea.
Thank goodness Urban Decay decided to incorporate a wand with a brush because I think it makes them that much easier to control. Seriously, I’ve never been the biggest fan of the slanted tip that accompanies the Lip Junkie tubes.

From top to bottom: Space Cowboy, Glitter Rock and Andromeda
Urban Decay Stardust Sparkling Lip Gloss, that is. 🙂
