One is a miniature version of their ginormous Little Black Book of Bronzers, and the other is a palette with three face powders designed to create different lighting effects (think the Hourglass Ambients).

I do not bronze so I’m not really looking at the bronzer palette. And the selfie palette, hmmmm, I think it’s a reach for TF. I’m not really sure when I’d decide to use them. Buttery yellow on an overcast day as a pick-me-up? Golden when I’m looking pale? And I just received a purple powder in a Memebox I just got, and I still haven’t figured that one out 😉 So I will pass on both of these, and I’m waiting to check out the new TF shadow palettes instead 🙂
Not that I need more bronzer but I really want the book of bronzers! I had the chance to buy the OG one last year but I am glad I didn’t…the smaller size works out better for travel and storage and whatnot. (Although I did the math and the big bronzer book they sold last year was a true cost savings).

I’m glad it helped! 🙂 The bigger book is/was a pretty good deal, but it’s just SO BIG. It’s downright inconvenient to store anywhere.

I feel like the selfie palette is a tween girl version of Hourglass powders. Which is awesome, but not what I’m reaching for. I use Benefit Dandelion and Dallas that way though!
Hi Karen! I love watching your videos. You have such a fun personality, and you remind me of myself! Ha. This bronzer book looks like something I’d like- the first one was tooooo large, and since I don’t bronze a whole heck of a lot, the smaller one makes more sense for me. I do love some Too Faced bronzers, though! And the light filters seem kind of like highlighters to me, is that essentially what they are?
